Harp Lessons
Chelsea teaches both pedal and lever harp lessons. Repertoire in lessons ranges from classical and celtic music, to popular songs and ensemble music, geared to the student's interests. She accepts students with little or no musical background up to advanced players. Lessons last between 30 minutes to an hour depending on the student's age and frequency of lessons. Chelsea currently has over 20 students in her studio ranging in age from 5 to retired adult.
Online lessonsWhether distance, weather, or limited availabilites are a factor, Chelsea is available to teach lessons via Skype or Face Time. All that is required is your own harp, internet connection, and access to Skype or Face Time.
Lessons can be all online, or alternate with in-person instruction as well. |

Studio Policy
There will be no refunds for missed lessons, but with your approval, I will share phone numbers, and you can find students to swap lesson days and times with, if needed.
Re-scheduling with other students is up to you, but please notify me of any changes.
If I need to miss a lesson, I will either re-schedule, or give you a lesson credit for the next month.
Student withdrawl: 30 days notice is required for discontinuing lessons.
To best learn the harp, I recommend that students elementary age and younger should practice at least 15-20 minutes per day, 5-6 days a week. Middle-school aged students should practice 30-40 minutes per day, 5-6 days a week, and high school students and older should practice at least 45 minutes per day, six days a week. Research has shown that for every day that you do not practice, you lose two days worth of what you had already accomplished. If you have trouble practicing all at one time, split up your practice time into 10 or 15 minute segments: you will probably be pleasantly surprised and actually practice longer than that! For more practicing tips, please talk to me during your lesson.
