About Chelsea
A Tri-Cities native, Chelsea Spence earned her Master's degree in Harp Performance from Colorado State University, in Fort Collins, CO, and her Bachelor's of Music in Harp Performance at Eastern Washington University in Cheney, WA.
Chelsea teaches out of her harp studio in Kennewick, WA, and has performed throughout Colorado and Washington states. Chelsea is currently principle harpist with the Mid-Columbia Symphony in the Tri-Cities, Wa, the Walla Walla Symphony in Walla Walla, WA, and the Oregon East Symphony in Pendleton, OR.
Ms. Spence is a regularly featured performer for Kennewick First Presbyterian Church, the Mid-Columbia Mastersingers, and multiple other performance groups throughout eastern Washington. She was also the featured soloist with the Grande Ronde Symphony in La Grande, OR in 2010.
Chelsea is currently the harp instructor at Walla Walla University in College Place, WA and at Whitman College in Walla Walla, WA.
Chelsea is an active member of the Tri-Cities chapter of the Washington State Music Teacher's Association and has held office as chapter secretary and District Vice President.
Chelsea lives in Kennewick with her husband, Adam, and their two sons. Chelsea's dog and two cats are the welcoming committee for their home and studio.
